LIFE DECK GENERAL MAINTENANCE

 The Life Deck products listed above are very durable deck coating systems that will require maintaintenance as follows:

l) Wash as needed with TSP,water and a brush.

2.) Hose the deck of at least once permonth.

3) Power wash with up to 1500 psi every six months or as often as needed'

4) Do an annual inspection to look for cracks or abnormal wear.

5.) Where a solid colored topcoat was used such as our Life Deck l0 series, reapply the Life Deck 10 Series Top Coat at 200-250square feet per gallon every 2-3 years depending on exposure to traffic and the weather (UV from the sun ).Be sure to read the product literature before beginning.

 6) When a Clear Sealer was used such as Stone Glaze or 4001, be sure to use the same product when re-coating. Please contact us for specific maintenance recommendations and refinishing techniques. Be sure to read the product literature before beginning.

7) Should cracks or holes become evident, contact your applicator or us directly so we can arrange for an inspection and further recommendations.

 Please avoid the following:

l) Heavy potted plants or spas being placed on the surface (small pots need plastic trays).

 2) Abrasive scrubbing of the surface.

3) Harsh chemicals or solvents such as gasoline, lighter fluid, paint thinner.

4) Hot coals or extreme heat from barbeque grills.

5) Dragging of items such as furniture or pots over the surface, and inspect the feet of your surface.
